I have been working at PatSnap full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have found my experience in my first year at PatSnap amazing! I feel supported in my day-to-day role, and more importantly, I strongly believe in the team we have in place and vision we have for the next steps of the company. In my role, I am surrounded by collaborative, open-minded and hard-working individuals who are motivated to designthe best customer experience. I feel I learn my my teammates each day! Most importantly, I feel supported and empowered by Senior leadership to tackle the challenges of my day to day role. Would recommend this role for anyone looking for a motivating, high-performing team!

    Cons

    - None at this time!

    Pros

Interesting product, Their health benefits are just ok

    Cons

Where do I start?! HR treats employees like her children and scolds you. The owner knows nothing about business, which is why he keeps changing his SLT, disagree with him and you're fired. Clearly he needs to step down, as the business has never been profitable. They are not ethical, they treat people as numbers and easily replaceable, which is why they are always hiring. These are replacements, not net new from growth. They do re- orgs every month. Every week you come into the office and someone is missing as they've been walked out. There's high turnover and then there's Patsnap. Never have I worked at an organization with so many being let go. They pay on the lower end, so not very competitive at all. There are no other perks, unless you consider free coffee and seltzer. Their sales model is heavily flawed and doesn't work. They encourage you to leave positive reviews, which helps secure your job. Need I say more?

I worked at PatSnap full-time for more than a year

    Pros

CEO is strong and has good advisors.

    Cons

Weak Senior Leadership. Company is not innovative (nor does it allow for staff to be) except for the R&D team in China. Do as a I say and just be quiet and execute appoach - very poor culture. No room for being agile and experimenting new ideas outside of SLT. Very high turnover (4+ sales VPs in less than 2 years) (a revolving door) with no sense of managerial direction or help due to inexperience. There are a few good blokes that get it but I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to work here outside of R&D.

I have been working at PatSnap full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are a lot of really great and talented people working at PatSnap. The company is relatively young so a lot of people are eager to prove themselves. The product is very advanced and the development team does a great job of keeping us all in the loop with changes and updates.

    Cons

This company wants to grow quickly. They are trying to transition from Startup to enterprise. Because of this there has been a lot of turnover within senior management. When that happens, some initiatives get started and then abandoned. Team structures have taken months to develop because they keep changing.

I have been working at PatSnap full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Really solid product for R&D teams. Value is easy to build and there is a clear need for this tool within these R&D teams - Pay is above average, good commission scheme - Very capable team around you for solutions consulting and account management - Great office in a WeWork space

    Cons

    - Leadership turnover is through the roof - Sales managers need more polish to effectively lead and coach teams - Call center vibe for AEs

Beautiful wework office on 41st floor Great people and chilled atmosphere The Toronto office only opened a year ago so lots of space for growth Caring management

I have been working at PatSnap full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Leadership that empowers you and truly wants you to succeed - Organization isn't afraid to spend funds to ensure employee happiness - Top-Notch Location: Office has a breath-taking view on one of the highest floors in the Scotia Bank Plaza. We are connected to the Path so you're walking indoors to work - Benefits plan is great - We are going through hyper-growth so this is the time to join the rocket-ship - Offices in UK, Singapore, China and US so you have an opportunity to work around the globe

    Cons

    - Growing pains always occur during this hyper-growth phase but the beauty is that you have the ability to influence change and culture in our new Toronto office.
