Pros

PTO that you cannot take.

Cons

TLDR: Hours. You will work 100 plus hours over time per month at times without extra pay. Pay No training Management is way behind Not employee friendly Very toxic overall environment They made me work against my known disability and told me to quit when I brought it up. The management will use confidential survey results against the employee. My survey answers were even displayed during a company meeting so that the management could chastise my responses. I have NEVER seen a company do that, crazy! I was hired to work day shift and then was moved nights. I have epilepsy and started having issues and I was told to deal with it or quit, what?! The turnover is really high, the company only has a couple knowledge staff in each department but they are so overworked and miserable that you cannot even call them with questions. PDI acquires other companies and applications on a monthly basis. They fire all the people from the acquisition then will dump the new program and all of its support on its currently over worked employees. The company is split up into different departments and their is almost zero positive working relationship between departments. Other departments feel like rivals and you will get manic emails on a weekly basis from staffers of other departments over things out of your control. PDI started outsourcing a lot of the IT work to low wage earners with limited skills. You might be asked to train people in other countries during your off time. You will also have to teach the individual how to write email, communicate verbally etc. PDI is definitely making a push to outsource all the skilled IT and support positions, keep that in mind when applying. This organization uses employees and spits them out unlike any company I have, including the US Army.
