Pros

Paid on time and cool coworkers (non management)

Cons

-Expectations were unrealistic and unfair -They try to convince you there is opportunity to make money but they lie and screw you over when it comes down to commission. -Managers were not just extremely rude but also very inappropriate. None of them were on the same page and they are very disorganized. -they care more about money than they do their employees. -I’ve seen multiple people fire/quit within one month. -nobody was happy and it was pretty difficult to do our jobs correctly because management would always contradict themselves. -pay was not worth how we were treated and expected to do.

The world is too small a place for one Daniel, seemingly online review sites are ok with multiple. You bring a captivating uniqueness wherever you go, and we love you for that and your other defining qualities. I know you saw a long term future here - the business needed to keep things frictionless and easy. It wasn’t a fit, but came close to being something very special. Keep doing what you do, you’re a wonderful person. Thank you for your time here. A departure any less dramatic would be unbecoming and uncharacteristic.

Pros

They paid me on time.

Cons

Boss took a week off the day I started and then complained I only wrote 12,000 words that week. Needs to be 15,000 words a week minimum divided among 30 stories. That's 80 minutes each to write six 500-word stories per day, including the research and the writing. About all kinds of different topics, from insurance to shoes to Disney. Even had to sit in on daily staff meetings where the sales crew never reported anything positive. Saw the handwriting on the wall. Wrote 15,000 words the next week and quit. Wrote 15,000 words the next week -- just to show them I could (and it took an extra hour or two each day) -- and quit. Too many unreasonable expectations for a lousy $18 per hour.

You attempt to smear a U.S.-based company where you lasted 2 weeks as a ‘Colombian-based content factory’ based on the fact that our diverse team includes team members born or currently residing abroad. You, dear sir, are a bigot. Word count has never been an issue for anyone in that role prior to or since your brief and dreary time here. We abhor racism and bigotry. Shame on you. What would your mother think of this behavior?

Pros

Paid on time. That’s about it.

Cons

Hostile and loud. CEO screams at people and humiliates whenever possible. Trying to grow too fast. Greedy and pay commission poorly.
