Pros

- Great colleagues - Office location - Easy work, don’t need any knowledge/experience - Private equity is a great industry to get an understanding of

Cons

- Favouritism - Office politics - Only few people progress quickly (this was different 2+ years ago as the company was a lot smaller) - Only hire graduates - overworked and underpaid - Management write fake 5* Glassdoor reviews (September 2022 reviews) and current employees are asked to write good reviews - ‘Promote’ people and give more responsibility without increasing salaries or benefits - Toxic attitude towards working from home and taking annual leave - Managers have no management experience or training - No HR process in place - Very limited benefits - The sales environment is highly toxic - Lack of transparency in progression - Lack of diversity - not considered in hiring - Hire overqualified people who then leave quickly - Not a helpful job for your overall career - no real skills learnt - Very high turnover, not many people stay over a year (as a result of the above)

Pros

- Junior colleagues are friendly and approachable. - Central office location, - Highly flexible wfh policy, including working from abroad

Cons

- The role is not accurately represented in job advertisements; the focus is only on recruitment, with no exposure to advisory responsibilities. - Inexperienced managers with no prior experience or training, resulting in miscommunication, inconsistent management practices, and mismanagement. Micromanagement is a persistent issue, with no autonomy in day-to-day tasks. -The workplace culture in the London office can feel negative, with serious concerns stemming from senior EMEA leadership - Associates face significant pressure to work extended hours with compensation that does not align with the workload. Bonus payouts are minimal despite different expectations set during hiring - Social events are frequent but often lack inclusivity, with an overemphasis on alcohol-centric activities - Team building activities almost exclusively focused on drinking - EMEA leadership instills toxic culture in the London office - Favouritism & promotions based on favouritism. Lack of support to progress out of junior roles - Lack of diversity in both gender and especially ethnicity across the organization, and no initiatives at all to address this gap - HR functions are managed by individuals without formal HR qualifications, significantly impacting the quality of employee support - Promotions and increase in responsibility do not match salary increases - Habit of rude&inappropriate comments towards clients amongst team leads - Employees have been asked to write fake positive reviews on here especially the ones going up in recent days
