Pros

Strong exposure to fintech systems and real banking workflows. Good team knowledge sharing and mentoring opportunities. Hands-on experience with complex transaction processing. Supportive colleagues and interesting technical challenges.

Cons

Heavy micromanagement limits autonomy and slows decision-making. Very limited work-from-home flexibility, mostly office-bound. Strict 9-hour schedule feels outdated and inflexible. Frequent overnight support during peak periods impacts work-life balance. High responsibility with limited control over processes.

Pros

Good benefits, but no WFH/ Hybrid policy

Cons

For freshers, if you are considering a position on the Support Team, be aware that you won't be participating in projects very often. Most of the time, you will need to figure things out on your own, as your tasks are the incident requests clients raise. Most of the time, you will feel stuck, certainly because you have never seen such errors before, not to mention how to fix them. Additionally, you will be required to work night shifts, which means you need to be prepared to provide support in case of any incidents, even on holidays. When you're up for an upgrade, you will also have to work overnight to assist clients. Overall, this role is not recommended for freshers. Furthermore, it is important to note that you will likely have little to no involvement with coding tasks.
