Pros

-The team I work with is fantastic. The people here, the actual experts on the frontlines keeping this company afloat are worth supporting and sticking around for. -Fully remote opportunities -Flexible work schedule -Unlimited PTO (that I feel I can't take cause we're drowning) -Excellent products that can be successful if the people behind them are supported

Cons

-Lack of real communication and direction from management -Extremely siloed teams where we have no idea who is doing what -Attrition rate high (I am doing 3 people's worth of work right now) -Upper management who doesn't understand the needs or complaints of their employees -Mismanaged budget, acquisitions and migrations (was all buy buy buy, grow grow grow and now they're scrambling because that's not sustainable) -Massive layoffs including 25% company-wide earlier this year, the lay-off/closure of an entire office in Germany last week leading to further uncertainty -Disproportionate hiring at the C-suite level -Wage disparity and inequity -Lack of transparency and accountability -Ultra bottlenecked processes that half of the people who need them don't understand

Moving goal posts and toxic leaders

Anonymous employee

Pros

Individual contributors are smart and hardworking.

Cons

Overworked and underappreciated. Constantly have moving goal posts and even if you complete things before schedule, leadership will always find your work lacking. The performance reviews have limits, so only a percentage of people will be marked as exceeds expectations, even if it is a high performance team who is begging for encouragement. Leadership seems scared to get to know their employees as they never know when they might have to lay them off. They also play the blame game, always pointing fingers on others fast instead of collaborating to solve issues. Poor leadership and a toxic company, in summary.
