Pros
1. Deep exposure to credit / finance fundamentals, even at the lowest job titles 2. Daily interaction with the leading PE Shops and IBs in finance community 3. Multiple fund strategies (CLO, SMA, et. al.) managing both Institutional and Retail assets 4. Chicaco office in a very convenient location (2 minute walk from Union Station)
Cons
1. Shop is young, so still a lot of work in very few hands (good if you like entrepreneurial environment) 2. Definitely a hierarchy in terms of title. Younger/new hires often treated like sled dogs (similar to IB culture). Up or out mentality.
