As a publicly traded company, there was a strong emphasis on making sure the employees and partners knew what the long-term mission and strategic direction were. There was a well-rounded, tenured group of technical, administrative, customer support, and management personnel that new employees can learn and grow from.
Cons
Sometimes profitability got in the way of adhering to the long-term strategic marketing, sales and product processes that were part of the larger picture and vision.
