I have been working at Novinium full-time

The best part about this company is no longer working here

    Cons

Nepotism, favoritism, terrible treatment of some employees. Management ignores worst employees, allows middle managers to ruin the company

I worked at Novinium full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Exceptional pay with awesome paid vacations.

    Cons

Was laid off, I figured working in the field would have at least found me work at another location before laying me off.

I have been working at Novinium full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Was a good company years ago

    Cons

Managers fill departments with friends and relatives with zero experience, Top management are nerds scientists who know nothing about managing a company, loyalty to company and hard honest work mean nothing, it's who you know and who hired you. There's no fairness and they lie to your face

I have been working at Novinium full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Novinium is extremely focused on the family environment. The people truly care and are eager to provide help at any time. Office environment is very relaxed, as long as you get your work done. The new CEO has been making significant improvements!

    Cons

Not ideal for those who need to be micromanaged.

I worked at Novinium full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people who work here are kind and want to know more about you as an individual. People work hard and are good at what they do. Some of the smartest engineers I have met work here.

    Cons

Recently the office seems to have made strides, but when I worked here the engineering team didn't think much outside the box. This led to projects getting dragged on years over when they needed to. There was also some awfully sexist remarks made by upper management, though I don't think those people work their anymore.

    I worked at Novinium full-time

    Pros

There might have been a vision once upon a time, but that is long gone while Novinium struggles to be relevant in the utility industry. CEO has tried to position the company as a technology play but this technology is over 25 years old and has run its course.

    Cons

CEO is egocentric, unpredictable and incapable of true leadership. Revolving door in management means few upper level people actually understand the business. Obtaining new customers has proven difficult as the utility industry has moved on.
