Pros

I've worked for a number of different companies in my career both large and small as well as public and private. Novinium has one of the best onboarding processes I've seen. They are welcoming and make you feel confident in the often difficult decision to change jobs. Salary is good and competitive with the market. The company has a startup feel to it, even though it's not a startup and with that comes some perks, like lunch on the company almost weekly, free drinks and snacks and a fairly relaxed and flexible work environment and schedule.

Cons

The welcoming feeling ends at onboarding. Difficult for new staff to integrate with existing teams/departments/staff, this might be a reflection on me as an individual, but it seems clicky. The method in which employees are terminated is concerning. There is little to no employee development or coaching. If a person is under performing then they are gone without provocation or an opportunity to correct said performance. For a private company, healthcare benefits are expensive and below standard. Very few vacation/sick days provided. (PTO).
