Flexible work arrangements but low pay and outdated tech
Pros
Flexi working arrangements - 2-3 days in the office. Type of place to come to relax and retire that's not government. Starting to realise their mistakes and hire external talent as leaders. Good diversity of hires Excellent CEO. Genuinely a switched on guy Good work life balance as after hours work isn't expected
Cons
Poor pay. 3.5% performance bonus for exceeding expectations. 7% for being exceptional (not many of these). Minimal pay rise around 2.5% for high performance (yes below inflation) and almost nothing for average performers. Tech stack is legacy, processes are bureaucratic, leaders historically appointed for tenure not experience or wisdom. Startup vibes for a 25 year old company working on on prem legacy monoliths Lack of governance and due diligence as demonstrated by the first guardian fiasco
