Poor pay. 3.5% performance bonus for exceeding expectations. 7% for being exceptional (not many of these). Minimal pay rise around 2.5% for high performance (yes below inflation) and almost nothing for average performers. Tech stack is legacy, processes are bureaucratic, leaders historically appointed for tenure not experience or wisdom.
