Its pretty laid back, nice office setting, coworkers are ok with exceptions. Managers are cool and allow you to do what your good at. Vacation time is acceptable.
Cons
Lower than average pay, no room for growth, company hires violent ex-felons. One of the help desk employees was very strange and i came to find out from other coworkers he is a ex-con that was convicted of multiple armed bank robberies and did many years in jail. Not very nice to know your working next to someone like that. Hr dropped the ball on that one.

As the HR Director of Net56,
1: Our salary ranges are in line with Chicago area research data. We evaluate salary ranges semi-annually and give increases annually,
2: We encourage personal development and offer tuition reimbursement. There are several examples of internal promotions.
3: Net56 conducts a criminal background check on all our employees. The statements above are serious, libelous misstatements of fact.
4: I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about Net56.
If novice, decent place to gain experience. Must have lots of initiative to get ahead or get chance to work in different roles.
No longer working there.
Cons
Incompetent upper management
Low pay
Upper management's ego takes precedence over sensible/profitable business decisions
-The client I worked with was awesome. Everyone was welcoming and enjoyed what they do.
Cons
-PTO time isn't managed fantastically. They is no "Bank" of time that your borrow against and work towards paying off the balance. If your sick in the beginning of year you're SOL till March.
-401K has no match from company
-High turnover of staff
-Huge disconnect between all levels of staff. Lack of communication between Engineers and Helpdesk, often leading to circular problem solving.
-Lack of trust between client side and company (Per conversations with clients)
