I have been working at Nando's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They take good care about their employees and they try to promote internally, such positions like manager within a restaurant

    Cons

Work life balance can be difficult to maintain due to shifts patterns. Depending on the restaurant you work at, can be stressful.

    Pros

If you’re looking for your first job, this would be an ok start so long as you’re ok with getting paid low minimum wage. Gives you experience pretty quickly. Quick training provided.

    Cons

With that being said, once it begins to get into the colder months, everyone’s hours are cut significantly.
Horrible pay rate. $16 an hour is unfair.
The store that I worked at in particular had a toxic environment. Employees just talk and complain about each other behind their back instead of resolving the issues with each other as co workers should. No support.

    Advice to Management

Discuss and seek to raise pay rates and ensure employees are doing their job properly.
