Toxic and Negative Environment

Pros

The mission of the company is great and things you do is really rewarding.

Cons

- Toxic “friendly/family” environment. Everyone pretends to be nice, but will talk negatively about you. - Management is also the same way. They give feedback in such a rude way, but will mask it with a sweet tone of voice. They will tell you to do one thing and then reprimand you when you do it.

Pros

The people who work for the organization are great, and the executive team seems to have good intentions. The organization does good work for victims of domestic violence.

Cons

Absolutely no job security. All new hires go through a 90 day trial period from which they are able to let you go at any time. There is no employment contract, and even if you pass the trial period, they can let you go at anytime, for any reason. Very little pay, and it appears they are only looking for people to cover graveyard shift and weekends. It also appears my personality was an issue, so for all new people, your personality will be evaluated and judged.
