Pros
The best part of working at MoreCommerce is the people. I have never worked at a company (large or small) that has less drama than we do. There is always conflict, but how a company and it's people deal with it will really make them stand out. MoreCommerce shines like a beacon in this regard.
* I feel very supported by my supervisor and upper management. I know that I could go to them with any issue and I would be listened to without judgement and would be taken seriously.
* I am encouraged to participate in aspects of the company that are not directly in my purview. Likewise, I am encouraged to ask the hard questions, not just lob softballs at the execs.
* All staff are encouraged and even pushed to make sure they take work/life balance seriously, and upper management leads by example.
Especially during Covid, MoreCommerce has gone above and beyond.
* Our twice a week office lunch was converted to a food delivery service so that we could still get this benefit from home.
* We were given a stipend to improve our home office however we saw fit.
* I have kids at home with me and I am given the flexibility to help with their school and other needs without question or reservation.
* A company wide holiday was made up on the spot to encourage people to unplug and focus on mental wellness.
The company continues to grow, and we have been through some turbulent times, however I feel that the owner and upper management have never been better and I am excited to see where we are in another 6 years.
Cons
Having multiple offices in the US and one in Romania is not without it's challenges. It can be difficult to really bond with people in other offices. That said, I do feel that MoreCommerce is trying it's best to deal with this and has done more than many other companies would have to try and bring us together as one company.
