Thank for your time and review! And sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Let us address the cons of this review:
- "Worked with the tracker"
We believe in the remote work environment it is important to use time trackers and task managers. This helps keep our work organized and productive. Also because we are an agency and many clients work with us on an hourly basis it is important for us to know the exact time spent on each project to be able to bill our clients. So because of client requirements and billing, we simply cannot not track the time we work.
- "5 times more tasks than in any other company"
Our system of task management is quite straightforward. Every week we plan tasks for each developer for 30 hours. It can be a few tasks or many but they all should take no more than 30 hours. These 30 hours are based on the developer's own estimates. So developers themselves give estimates and hence can't have more tasks than they can do. The remaining 10 hours (from a 40 hour week) are spent on bug fixing and other issues.
- "interfered with work by hurrying around the clock"
As mentioned above our timelines are based on what developers provide us. If the developer is delaying their task then project management will check in and ask what is the status and see if anything can be done to make sure we avoid delays. Because delivering great work to our clients is our #1 priority we want to avoid any delays on our side.
- "we worked at least 10 hours a day"
As mentioned above the way we plan our tasks generally avoids such situations. However, if the developer's own tasks are delayed it can happen that the developer would work an hour or so more. But important to note that because the tasks are planned based on developer estimates this can happen only if the developer underestimated the task. And if there are good reasons we are usually accommodating and try to postpone this task to another day if possible.
Lastly, it is important to note that this seems to be a fake review as we didn't have an Android developer who has been with the company for 3 years and then left. All developers who have been with the company for 3+ years are still here.
That being said, we are sorry to hear that someone had a negative experience. We will take this feedback into account and will try to improve! We know that we have high standards because in the very competitive field of software design and development if you are not the best then you might as well close the shop. We want to be the best. But we fully agree that it is important to ensure that our team members enjoy working here and will continue everything to improve that!
Thank you and good luck in your future career!
