      Very good company to learn and grow in FinTech

      Pros

      Very experienced top management, one can learn a lot working closely with them. Managers are actually trying to uplift your career unlike other places where politics take over merit. There is zero toxicity in majority of departments. Pay is great and fantastic medical insurance

      Cons

      There was some delay in getting liquidity which resulted in lay offs but given the solid structure I am hopeful things will get back on track. They decided to keep key performers while recent hires and junior folks were let go. This was unexpected as plans was to further grow.

      Pros

      I lost this job due to my own negligence which is something I will regret for the rest of my career. Meritize has the best culture and work-family I've ever worked with. I even received a raise I didn't ask for within the first 6 months. The benefits are amazing and this company really cares about its staff and its clients. They're truly irreplaceable and will forever be missed.

      Cons

      Even as an ex-employee that was fired, I can't think of any cons. I highly recommend this company to students looking for a loan and job searchers looking for a job that allows them to help people.

      Disturbing place to work/Terrible CEO

      Pros

      At first the salary was good but don’t think a raise will ever come. This place becomes a jail cell for the people that work here.

      Cons

      The CEO does not care about his team at all. He puts on a show that you will work together but does not care in the long run. I doubt this company will last for another year. They don’t have enough money nor satisfied clients.
