Pros

Team members often support one another and help create a positive work environment despite store leadership challenges. Loyal and enjoyable customer base that makes the job rewarding. Christmas bonus provided to employees. Generally predictable and manageable scheduling.

Cons

Store Leadership's communication style is one of the company's biggest challenges. Employees are often spoken to in a condescending, dismissive, and at times humiliating manner. Rather than being coached and developed, team members are made to feel belittled, resulting in low morale, high turnover, and a workplace culture where employees are afraid to voice concerns or challenge inappropriate behavior. Micromanagement limits autonomy and slows productivity. Store leadership frequently provides conflicting direction, creating confusion and inconsistency. Policies, procedures, and expectations change regularly depending on who is giving instructions. Assistant Manager is not empowered to lead or make decisions despite being held accountable for results. Sales performance and customer service are not always prioritized appropriately, with employees sometimes reprimanded for operational tasks while actively driving significant sales.
