working long shifts but only 4 days a week

Upper leadership is horrible. You have to fit their circle. If you go against the grain they will fabricate a way to remove you from the company. VP of operations preaches caring for the staff but behind their backs belittles them and calls them losers for not meeting goals. Management has no fixes for ongoing issues and keep trying the same thing over and over expecting different results. They plan production for a 4 day work week but once they fall behind the expect workers to work 7 days to make budget.
