Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at MappedIn full-time for less than a year
Pros
- Some of the people are fantastic - Had an appreciation for the person behind the employee - Benefits (unlimited vacation and personal time, wellness room, office cat, etc.) were good at the start of my employment
Cons
- The last two pros I've listed were no longer applicable by the end of my employment, due to changes in culture and company policy - Upper management have no clue what they're doing, and are very unprofessional - Cross-department relationships are tense and unfriendly - Hard/impossible to expand your career horizons - Bad roadmap planning and inefficient interactions between product and engineering

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at MappedIn full-time for less than a year
Pros
Office is modern and tech works well
Cons
They feel the start-up mentality is so neat that after 7 years they still think they are a start-up. So much overlap of resources and 60% of your week will be spent in meetings.

Pros
Great people. Fun team events. Good team spirit. Smart and innovative people. Ability to work from home once a week. They’re trying to make the place more fun which is nice, and we’re signing new clients on a regular basis.
Cons
No one has time for coaching / career development. It’s a sink or swim situation and you receive very little feedback along the way. They do not hesitate to demote people without giving them a chance. Not easy being a minority. If you’re a white dude in your 20s/30s with no kids this place is awesome. For the rest of us it’s a lot harder. Can’t even say what we think/feel without fear of consequences - some have been burnt in the past. Salaries are bad at all levels. Bonuses aren’t paid despite promises. Promises are never kept. Goals are never met. Objectives are rarely reported on / re-evaluated. Too many great people have left in the past few months due to poor leadership at the C-level.

Pros
Culture and office are great. People are really friendly. Great CEO
Cons
These are limited to the Customer Ops/Map Design Team -Dishonest managers, can't provide feedback or be truthful -Extremely low pay -Task delegation needs some work -Every other department has more freedom when it comes to working from home, and are more progressive. Customer Ops are limited to once a week "with a two day notice" prior.
