Before joining, I had heard many positive reviews about the company, particularly around the opportunity to learn advanced technologies. A close friend who previously worked there had a strong learning experience and later moved on to a good opportunity in Singapore.
However, after I joined, I experienced a significant gap between those expectations and reality. I later learned that the management team had been reshuffled prior to my joining, which may explain the drastic change in culture, leadership quality, and technical direction.
Unfortunately, the current environment is affected by biased leadership and favoritism, where recognition and opportunities are limited to a small group. There is a lack of clear direction and weak leadership, with responsibilities often pushed down without proper guidance or accountability. Growth opportunities are limited, and the role is largely focused on contribution rather than development.
