Pros

Pay Work Friends PTO Benefits

Cons

Out of touch management. So focused on numbers that they were caught defrauding the federal government by lying about organs recovered. Upper management hides in their office all day every day making policies that don’t really work in the real world. The organization has been taken over by a little man obsessed with spreadsheets and trying to prove to the world that he is good enough. The CEO, while once a kind an caring individual, is all but absent while the organization is sinking. Occasionally they are able to convince him to come out of hiding and show up for a PR event. The woman who currently runs the organ side of Lifebanc is colder than Elsa on a winters morning. She doesn’t have a warm bone or caring thought towards anyone, including her own children, who she is happy to talk negative about in every situation that she can. If you want to be over worked, never see your family, force families into donating organs, and work for an organization that doesn’t mind defrauding the government…well this is the place for you!

Pros

Starting pay is ok, looks great on a résumé, and opens doors to advance your career elsewhere.

Cons

Management and HR do not have your back and are way out of touch. The true Lifebanc mission is to make money and hit numbers so they can get their bonuses. They will do anything to hit those numbers as that is all that matters to them. If you are looking for a job where you: question if what you are doing is right or wrong, work long hours, receive mediocre pay, have no chance for advancement (unless you suck up and become a favorite), and get constant calls/emails/texts on your day off (even on PTO), this job is for you.

Pros

Good benefits. Healthcare and PTO

Cons

The executive leadership team is clueless. The CEO only cares about his next vacation and how much money he’s making. He doesn’t care about the people who work there and it’s a shame because the work being done at the lower level is amazing and completely mission driven. The people doing the real work are over worked and under paid, the guy at the top is over paid and probably out of the office. Also, the lack of diversity is troubling. The former head of HR didn’t want to address the diversity, equity, and inclusion because then that would be admitting there was an issue.
