Pros

I love being a part of startup companies. We broaden revolutionary product that is dependable and reliable which offers next level features in a stunning shape. Our operations and logistics team are the best I've worked with. Demand planning and market order fulfillment is amazing especially during a time when most manufacturers are 12-30 weeks on fulfilling orders. Our founders are constant in developing new partnerships, new product introductions providing me with huge selling opportunities. Our engineering team is ultra flexible to meet the changing needs of the market. My colleagues are extremely talented individuals and it's a joy to work with them. The leadership is focused and caring!

Cons

I wish I had joined this company earlier!

Pros

Remote work accessible, Decent pay. Opportunities to travel and meet people internally and externally. Vision and Dental are paid for. The offer Stock options. They offer severance for laid-off employees.

Cons

This is a company okay with letting people go two weeks before Christmas without explanation. I was a top-performer among others and I was laid-off without explanation other than my position was disappearing and the future of the company didn't include me. Positions for other removed coworkers were reposted in less than 3 weeks. I was also being mentored by an executive when this happened. There are few, if any opportunities to advance from within. In my experience, their culture is difficult for "bottom-end" employees who have families to participate in or feel welcome.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and some okay benefits

Cons

There are a lot of growing pains, especially on the support team. The transition to an in-house support team was a rough one. There was no real game plan during the training process leaving a lot of gaps in knowledge and training. There was a lack of communication with the management to the team, as well as blatant favoritism. There were also discrepancies from the interview (being told there was unlimited PTO, holidays off etc) that come to find out apply to every other team except the support team. On top of all of this, there were constant issues with pay being late or inaccurate hours, always being told it was the fault of payroll company. The fix was a slack channel for payroll instead of looking into why this kept happening, and seemingly only to the support team. Why keep using a payroll company that had these problems continuously?
