Having worked in the HR department for nearly 3 years i can confirm that the positive reviews are written by either the HR department or PA's to the senior management.
This is without a doubt the most political and poorly run company i have ever worked for. If you know the right people in the right places you'll be OK, otherwise you'd better do things exactly the way they've always been done or you won't be popular. There is no room for innovation and whilst the CEO is an inspiring guy to listen to, everyone below him is stifled and simply tows the line, fearful of what will happen if they don't.
The Senior HR Team don't look after the needs of the staff, rather the needs of senior management and what is best for them.....though they are very good at covering this up.
