      Pros

      Strong core values which are demonstrated daily Level-headed, non pretentious leadership Ample opportunity to grow Incredibly smart and dedicated team Company-wide transparency There's an amazing amount of growth and opportunity at this stage. I feel working here that I am part of an incredibly smart and diverse collective that's working to build something impactful rather than 'clocking in' to a job.

      Cons

      At this stage, Lane is a fast growing startup. That kind of environment is not for everybody. Changes may come about quickly and nearly everything is subject to change or refinement. Those who have done well are generally those that see these as opportunities, rather than impediments.

      Pros

      - The product: it is fulfilling to be a part of a team that is building a first of it's kind, disruptive technology. - The team: This is one of the best groups of people I've ever worked with. They are incredibly kind, hardworking, and humble. - Leadership: Our leadership team is one of the most genuine groups of people. They care tremendously about their staff, all park their egos at the door, and most importantly, trust their employees. - Ownership: no matter what role you have at Lane, you're a part of building this company. It's exciting to know that the work I do every day has an impact and I'm not a cog in a big machine.

      Cons

      - The start-up life: This is not exclusive to Lane, in fact, I think most tech start ups have this same problem. Because we're early stage and a small team, things can be busy, and things can get messy (i.e. we don't have big budgets for fancy tools)! IMO that's the fun of it. But it's not for everyone.
