Pros

Opportunities for promotion. "woman owned, queer inclusive company". Friendly coworkers, nothing bad to say about them.

Cons

So many red flags. Hours are much more than initially described, especially because you dont know where you'll be stationed until the start of the day. Got stationed hours away from home at one point. I've worked for charities before, this is not that. Only a profitable job if you make commission, otherwise it's only around 40/50 bucks a day. Not allowed to sit during selling because "thats not professional". Got stationed for a whole night selling in 30 degree weather. Coworkers were mostly college aged who need the money, dont let them convince you they actually care about the charities that they're a third party for.

Pros

None that comes to mind

Cons

Everything was sales, sales, sales. They do not care for their employees. Everyone quits because the job only pays 40 dollars a day. Not promised the numbers that were guaranteed in the interview. Total pyramid scheme. Doesn’t reimburse for travel. The front desk receptionist is rude. Avoid at all costs!

Pros

Nice office space with distracting environment.

Cons

- Ascenta, Cobra, and Appco group Pyramid Scheme - No work life balance (9:30-8) plus weekends - Ascenta group is the parent, they take roughly 90% of these donations - Childish sales tactics - “Donors” are not everywhere, and most people recognize the scam - Prey on people who “love animals” but they don’t understand less than 10% of that 300$ donation will actually make it to the charity
