Pros

Those people that are not part of the management team are absolutely wonderful.... key have a way of recruiting the nicest of people

Cons

working for people who think they own you...working for bullies who set out goals and when you achieve them they move the posts. Promise bonsus and don't pay. Change your working hours without notice. This is not a company I would recommend my worse enemy works. Good luck to anyone who signs a contract..... I have warned you. Simply dont go there.

Thank you for writing a review. As the Recruitment Manager I find myself with mixed feelings about your comments towards hiring 'the nicest of people' whilst also being part of a management team in the business since 2015. However, we can only apologise for getting things wrong for you as an employee for so long, five + years. Clearly this is not something anyone wants to experience and we hope you have been able to move on positively in your career elsewhere. Clearly, we have plenty of things to learn from and I can speak first hand how the business has changed over the past 12 months. Thank you for your five years+ service and hard work. As you have now left the business, it is difficult to put things right for you but we certainly wish you well in your future career.

Pros

It's a job which pays a wage. Minimum wage which for a financial services company is the choice you take. Even one star is for the proximity to ASDA.

Cons

If your looking for any wage increases then don't expect one as there isn't an arrangement to give employees any thing any time soon. Just ask someone how many people left in the year out of ,240. Between 5 and 30 a month That tells a story. Be very careful with e mail as they check this before you leave under "data" rules. The company ethos is if your under 2 years then your cannon fodder. If your really desperate then use this as a stepping stone to a decent job.

Thank you for the review. We are sorry to hear some of your views and experiences which are not what we want to read. Therefore, we apologise to you. We are happy to share that as a business we have experienced high turnover over the past 4 years but it has also reduced significantly in recent times. Unfortunately, you may have left the business before seeing your advice to management implemented but i can assure you that we have listened and taken action on your feedback. We have undertaken a number of new initiatives to improve staff engagement. To name a few, we held our second employee survey in 2017, created a staff committee, changed working hours, introduced fresh fruit Mondays and dress down Fridays. The business has now been sold to new owners (September 2017) and we have a new CEO and a new leadership team in place who are committed to making this a better place to work. Thank you again for your feedback and wish you well in your career elsewhere.

Pros

Some really lovely people work here, however they are hemorrhaging good staff by the day. Close to asda and Lathams so you're sorted for lunch (which is good seen as there is no canteen) The feeling on your last day is pretty amazing!

Cons

Directors who look down on the rest of the staff. Ridiculous amounts of rules which make you question whether they're just there to stamp authority on staff - no brews before 10am, no holidays allowed during the first week of January etc Terrible pay Next to no benefits Results from the recent staff survey were absolutely scathing and it's easy to see why.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review even though it was very hard to read from our perspective. As you have written anonymously and now left the business we can only apologise for your negative experience working here. Clearly this is not something we want for any employee, past, present or future so for that we are sorry. Since our change of ownership in early 2018 we have made a whole host of changes to the business which include removing those rules you mentioned. The business has also taken action to improve employee benefits, additional holidays, discounted gym membership, simply health, dress down fridays to name a few. The business has also used the results from the annual staff surveys (the third one is being issued very soon) to continue to make changes so this has been very worthwhile. We are very pleased to have seen a shift in culture over the past 12 months and hope that our reviews from current employees reflect that point of view. Once again, thank you for your review apologies for getting it wrong with you and wish you well in your future career.
