Pros

Very good discounts on outlet clothing and the staff I worked on the food with were really great.

Cons

Jaeger doesn't care employee happiness or fulfillment and thus they fail to motivate or inspire their staff to bring 110% to their position. Upper management is dismissive and does not listen to the concerns of staff members that work on the shop floors. The uniforms bought with the clothing allowance, are taken away at the end of each season (you can buy it back at 50% of the original price), there are very few opportunities for upward mobility, very few benefits, and no events that give recognition to the hard work of the staff (the Christmas party was a 10 pound bill to go to a pub) So, there's literally no incentive for anyone to want to remain loyal to this company.

Pros

- The people at head office are hardworking and mostly nice to work with. - Due to the horrendous contract and nature of the company there is always something to laugh about.

Cons

- All the negatives stem from the billionaire owner Phillip Day. Who is essentially a poor mans Mike Ashley, with just as few morals. - The contract is stripped of any benefits, and there is no reward for positive company performance... even though PD apparently takes a multi £m bonus from the profits. - Severe nepotism within the top ranks filled with PD's family and friends, who don't necessarily know what they're doing. - Chaotic work environment, mostly due to indecisiveness from the top. - Often have to work overtime with no appreciation or time back in lieu. - The handling of COVID-19 was atrocious, with many like myself being made redundant at the first sign of trouble (despite the gov furlough scheme). Also highly unethical approach to dealing with suppliers. DO NOT WORK SOMEWHERE YOU WILL NOT BE VALUED.
