Pros

JSSA has very skilled clinicians and some interesting opportunities, like providing services in other locations.

Cons

The agency has new management and was totally restructured. It has shifted to being much more corporate than before. The focus is more on quantity of services rather than quality of services. We have been spending much of our meeting time discussing record-keeping and utilization rates rather than clinical issues. The work culture has become less flexible and more punitive.

Pros

I work with a great team of people, taking care of a diverse set of clients. Management does a reasonable job of communicating, and a very good job of setting expectations related to work.

Cons

The pay is lousy. Bad enough that I’m looking to leave earlier than I wanted to.
