Pros

- You start with 4 weeks' vacation plus a paid week over the holidays and quarterly four day weekends - Everyone cares about one another, and the leaders genuinely care about employee wellness - PD budget/home office budget/wellness budget - Flexibility in working location - hybrid/remote - Autonomy and flexibility in how you work - everyone trusts you know what you're doing

Cons

- it's a small company, so growth paths are harder than at a large organization - salary isn't bad, but room for improvement

Pros

You'll get to work with some tremendous clients, ranging from startup founders with dreams of disruption dancing through their heads to newcomers and established veterans of the Fortune 500 Club who are looking to push their innovation forward to defend and regain their market share from being disrupted. You'll get to work with truly fantastic people in a work environment that provides a foundation for creative, intensely focused and boundary-pushing work. There's a relaxed and fun-loving culture that fuses both youthful exuberance and seasoned experience with a work/play balance in an exposed-brick-and-wood-beam open space in the heart of Gastown. You’ll get to submit your own product ideas and have the opportunity to work on some cutting-edge internal projects. After all, this is the home of Hootsuite, Foodie, and others. Yes, we play #sicktunes. Yes, our GIF game is strong. Yes, we know the best coffee and food spots around. Yes, there's 🍺 on tap and snacks on hand. Yes, we GTFO on some Fridays to let our hair down and blaze through karaoke classics 🎤. Yes, there are 🐶 to snuggle and share on your Instagram Story. Oh. And we love 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌.

Cons

It's an open-concept floor plan with few break-out/meeting rooms, which can sometimes make finding a space to get distraction free, heads down work accomplished a challenge...but that's what makes a relaxed work-from-home-or-cafe policy possible, am I right? Pay is not as competitive given the agency model, but you're exposed to a lot of projects across vastly different industries, so take your pick of what you're willing to compromise on.

Pros

The opportunity to work on challenging problems with world-class organizations with an incredibly friendly team. I have no doubt that you will meet life long friends here, clients and colleagues. It also helps working in a really cool office located in the centre of Gastown.

Cons

The work is hard and can be stressful at times.
