      Pros

      Great team atmosphere and small company social culture promoting a relaxed environment with flexible start and end times on non-field days. Interesting technical challenges and exposure to innovative technology in civil infrastructure diagnostics. Direct contact with engineers and supportive Canadian management noted positively. Work-life balance rated fairly well by employees.

      Cons

      Limited business growth beyond culvert inspection, restricting diversification and career growth opportunities for employees.

      Pros

      Broad ranging responsibilities in a small company with good compensation, lots of freedom to define the best solutions to problems, excellent opportunities to grow skills. Promising company with a bright future, built on all in-house software and hardware, with little to no legacy or integration baggage.

      Cons

      Pay was fixed at the time, no room for increase. Reluctance to fund upgrades, and no budget to growing infrastructure year over year. Company built on totally in-house software and hardware will need significant shift in focus to IT infrastructure and software development to scale long term.

      fair workload and early start/end time

      Cons

      lower than average pay for the work done, management lies and refuses to solve issues brought up by employees, dangerous work that could lead to serious injury or death, problem employees that consistently try to get others in trouble/ fired without any justification. management will not address racism/ bullying by trouble employees.
