Firstly, senior management is seriously confused about what their priorities are. Alchemy made a few acquisitions and has done a poor job both integrating the organizations and figuring out what the new story is. Each executive seems to have their own version of the story and it's hurting the entire team.
Secondly, you have the main platform that was built last century. Build something new and put the old platform out to pasture.
Thirdly, the sales team seems like they're having a fire-sale every quarter. It devalues the product when you're constantly offering discounts in order to close ANY deal. I feel bad for the sales team that hasn't made their number in years. And let's not forget the challenge for the account teams that have to renew these low margin deals. Good luck trying to bring the margin up.
Fourthly, there's no opportunity to grow. The good 'ol boys won't allow it. Also, don't try and be a disruptor. You'll be signing your pink slip. If you want to stay employed, keep you head down and be a good sheep.
