Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. At Intermountain Health, data plays a big role in how we care for patients—and it also guides how we support our caregivers. That’s why our benefits are thoughtfully designed to balance affordability, sustainability, and competitiveness, while creating a consistent experience for everyone on our team. We’re always listening, and as caregiver needs and market trends evolve, so will our benefits.

Pros

Benefits package is great, it includes (somewhat) affordable health insurance, retirement contribution matching, tuition reimbursement, or complete coverage of certain continuing education opportunities. Yearly guaranteed raises. Policies that could work well if executed.

Cons

Compensation is variable depending on your position and it seems like new hire starting pay is going down over the years. Job descriptions/ roles are muddled or not clear. Understaffed in many areas. Managers are overworked and don't appear to have a ton of power, even when they're great.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We know that staffing challenges continue to impact healthcare across the country, and we’re actively working on creative, long-term solutions here at Intermountain Health. From offering remote and hybrid roles where possible, to investing in paid training programs, tuition support, and apprenticeships, we’re focused on building a strong, sustainable workforce. We’re also partnering with schools and community organizations to help grow the next generation of healthcare professionals. At the same time, we’re putting real energy into retention because we know how important it is to support and keep the incredible caregivers we already have. As for compensation, we regularly review compensation each year to stay aligned with market trends and geographic considerations. Your feedback helps us continue to improve, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to the appropriate teams.
