      Great engineers, poor leadership

      Pros

      Lots of great people/engineers to work with Lots of interest in learning amongst the engineers Casual and flexible work environment This is far from the worst place to work - there are a lot worse. But management/business really seems to not listen to the FACTS engineers tell them (no that deadline is not realistic, no we can't do that, that is a stupid idea,, etc)

      Cons

      Top leadership is very weak, more managers then leader. Owner/General manager is self-absorbed and out of touch Bought by Trimble - not sure if this is pro/con yet, but company will become a publicly traded/corporate place to work eventually (which is both good and bad)

      -lots of learning opportunities -Agile environment. -flexible Friday

      Cons

      -Management wants teams to work more than 40 hours but not paid. -unexpected team changes create more confusion and unproductive -company prefers low cost employee than quality high skilled manpower. -though says Agile but some are fixed mind set who does not want to change. -Management change

      Great Company and a great culture

      Pros

      ISE is a great place to work because you are challenged everyday, you are just as important to the company as the CEO, and you are working with some very smart and driven individuals. We don't have to worry about the bureaucracy of management to get in the way of getting work done. The teams are given a lot of trust and control of what they do. The people drive this company, and it's easy to see that after a short time. No one cares about titles at ISE, so people listen to and value each other as people rather than for the type of work they do. A few other things: - Ping pong table - Catered monthly company meetings - Regular grill outs/ bags events - Fun committee that plans fun activities for the company

      Cons

      It's tough to think of much - we don't really have much cool stuff to hand out at career fairs and sometimes different teams don't interact very often.
