Pros

There are some great people who work at Infinity. I've been in the industry for many years and there are a ton of great folks here.

Cons

Infinity has been around for a long time and yet they still can't figure out how to manage a project. Upper management has no idea what they're doing, and frankly it's remarkable they've stayed around this long. I've also witnessed a pattern of poor treatment of employees over my last several years at Infinity. The company has invested tens of thousands of dollars in the last year in improvements to the building such as new windows, flooring, furniture, etc., and yet they refuse to pay competitive salaries, and are shocked when people leave for better positions.

Pros

- The analysts and developers that I worked with all were great people who are pretty entertaining to be around. - The performance review process is a monthly process and is employee driven. - You get benefits

Cons

- The upper management wields the very vaguely worded non compete agreement as a weapon. It is used to ensure that people do not leave. Just check out the Leon County Court records for more on that. I would also highly encourage you to ask around town about their non compete if you'ore considering working for Infinity. - Frequent mismanagement of projects often results in long hours for team members. That might be ok if you saw anything for it, except positions are salaried and there are rarely rewards for such overtime except for the occasional meal and a pat on the back. - Low starting salaries. - The benefits are expensive and aren't that great as far as coverage and retirement matching percentage.

Pros

The people are willing to help each other and do things after hours and outside their job title to assist with deadlines. Great company work ethic.

Cons

Programmers asked to complete tasks that cannot be met by given deadlines or performed given the capacity of the department. Projects performed, especially globally, poorly planned and communicated between departments. Pressure is developed to not speak up honestly at meetings when aware the strategy is not going to work, or aware of ideas that should be addressed to ensure proper foresight.
