Fully Remote Work from Anywhere in a Fast Paced, Technology Environment

Pros

Working at Ignite is a true, legitimate work from anywhere experience that allows you full flexibility to do rewarding work that can be balanced with your home/travel life. The model of growing by acquisition gives you constant exposure to new platforms and technologies.

Cons

This is a very fast paced environment; which is not a con necessarily. But if you do not thrive in such an environment, then Ignite may not be the place for you.

The job is remote so...that?

- You lose half your pay to "fees" that they make up, then if you live in a different country, you'll get hit with more fees from their payment processor. - They make you install invasive software on your personal computer that tracks mouse movement and takes screenshots. You can't use your own computer for anything else after hours. - They do not trust ANYONE, so they are constantly checking in, reading your email, your messages, recording team meetings. Unless you are head down, pumping out work 10 hours per day, never taking more than 15 minute breaks (and only one of those per day), you will get written up. Someone got fired after 2 days because they took 30 minutes for lunch. That was literally what they were told. - They will randomly go through your entire computer without even telling you, so you can't have anything personal on it. I got in trouble for using my own computer, that I paid for, well after hours to print out a recipe.

- Tunover may be on the higher side because the structure and high working standards do not work with everyone
