Pros

Great job! Working here will teach you how to be confident in yourself, build work ethic, organization skills, responsibility and how to talk to others and deal with negativity. Training is great and they do a good job of slowly bringing you into a world that your not familiar with. The scheduling for employees are also really flexible to your schedule. I worked 4 hours a day while I attended school. On top of that everyone here is a joy to be around. They all are there to help you get through the day whether it's going bad of good. Sharly, the President of IOBC, is also a treat she funny and she is care free and doesn't hang over her employees like a dictator. Overall, all the employees in IOBC are friendly people that are extremely supportive of each other and only want to see you and the company grow into something we can all be proud of.

Cons

Now if you are not a strong willed person this job is not for you. As an, executive relations representative, your job basically boils down to you calling business owners and accountants to set up a meeting for your partner (CPA). During these calls you may end up talking to people that aren't too fond of you. You cannot let those people drag you down because if you do you will not enjoy your time her at IOBC. Going into this job you have to understand you will always get a lot of no's before you get a yes. Sooo.. with that being said If you want to have the best experience you have to be confident and have a mentality that no matter how crappy some people may act it won’t affect you. Lastly, this job does have a certain criteria that you have to fulfill every week when it comes down to production on your part. This is not the con, but instead it does have a bit of stress that comes with it. The good thing is though if you’re starting out for the first time at the company. You will have at least 2-3 weeks after training before you have to fit within these goals. These goals may range from meetings per week to how many emails you send to owners of big companies. What’s great is you are also in charge of your own goals, but if you’re not able to pull your own weight you may feel like crap. In summary, this job is great if you don't mind calling or just talking to people. To be successful you got learn to just to sit back relax and don't over think about what you’re saying to these big name people and, "you will be in good hands". ALLSTATE!

Pros

IOBC has a very professional, yet stress free environment. The management here is great and will do everything they can to keep their workers motivated.

Cons

Not everyone would consider this a con, but it is an office job. Most of your time is spent behind a computer sitting down. Besides that everything is great!

Pros

The atmosphere in the call center is amazing, and the relationship that we all have with each other is unlike anything in any other workplace that I've been a part of. We are all so close, and work together as a team to achieve our goals. From the time that I first got here I have felt welcomed and valued by my coworkers and manager, and fitting in that quickly was something very new to me since I usually feel very awkward and uncomfortable in new situations. The incentives that are put in place are fun, and it's fun to be competitive with your coworkers to try and get the incentives. I like that our performance is so competitive. Personally, seeing my numbers up on the boards and competing with others is very motivational for me and helps me be more successful. Something great about this company is that during my time here I have actually felt like I am an important part of what we are doing. I feel like I have an important role and responsibilities, and I have learned so much about myself and about business itself from working here. It has been a priceless experience.

Cons

One of the only challenges that I have had working here is a frustration with goals and standards that seemed to be a little high. I love a good challenge, and I love setting goals for myself, but it often seemed that the goals that were set for the team were a bit unrealistic, which was a bit deflating when month by month we would keep setting these high goals and consistently not reach them. It started to feel like there was no point in trying to reach the goals at all. I was also a bit frustrated with how difficult it was to earn the bonuses, since the meetings holding seemed to be, for the most part, out of our control.

Thank you for the advice! Look to see some changes in early 2015 that clearly state the mission of the company and layout the structure of the company. This should allow us to grow quickly, but not forget the small steps to ensure everyone is growing together!
