Pros

Clean, safe workplace with an opportunity to help students who wouldn't otherwise have a place in higher education.

Cons

They've operated like a small family business for many years and still have that mentality but want to play like they're in the big leagues which makes it a difficult environment to try to navigate. Juvenile behavior by CEO and Management.

Dear Reviewer, We are deeply saddened by your experience. While we are a locally and family owned company, we are proud to employ more than 300 people within our campus cities of Colorado Springs, Greeley, Fort Collins, Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY, and to have graduated close to 7,000 students in our 30 years of providing life-changing career training. With our Executive and Management Teams, as well as all other departments, there is an Open Door Policy in which employees can share their valuable feedback and thoughts with leaders. We take great lengths to ensure employees are kept in the loop, through CAPS News, All Staff Meetings, company memos and relaying important information to all employees. Rest assured, employees’ insight and well-being do matter to us. Please email HR@ibmc.edu with any additional feedback you may have for communication improvements.

Pros

The students and ability to teach them.

Cons

They want you to pass each and every student regardless if they have the skills necessary to pass. They want to flood the market with students that lack skills to make it in today's market. It's all about the money to them. How many students can we get through is their motto. They act like they care but truly they don't. And they don't take care of their instructors either. They treat the instructors like they are dispensible.

Dear Reviewer, We are sorry to hear your experience was not what you had hoped for. Rest assured, it is our policy NOT to pass all students, nor flood the market with graduates. We take several precautions to ensure we are providing our students with great training opportunities in the classroom, the ability to complete an externship or clinical practical experience during their program and offer them career placement assistance. IBMC College is partnered with hundreds of employers throughout our campus regions, including leading hospitals, medical practices, dentist office, salons, massage clinics, legal firms, mortgage and title companies and more. Please reference a complete list here: https://ibmc.edu/services/career-services/hires-ibmc-college-graduates/. When it comes to our employees, we maintain an Open Door Policy. Your voice and opinion are important. We take multiple steps to ensure company benefits are provided. Upon meeting certain requirements, employees qualify for these. Additionally, Faculty In-Service, guest speaker, continuing education and other opportunities provide instructors a chance to grow. Please contact our HR Department to voice your concerns. You may email HR@ibmc.edu.
