      Pros

      Part of MassMutual, great policyholder-owned company.

      Cons

      Management is distant, clueless, little access when you need help. Lots of chiefs and few Indians. Office is a pit, with cubes that make you feel rat-like. Systems don't function. All commission: you are expected to sell life insurance to everyone, even if they don't need it. Horrible experience, would not recommend as employee or client. Beware!

      Great company with great people, but it was tough to get started

      The company wants you to build your business how you see fit. They support you in your endeavors to further your financial planning knowledge. Great company culture with fun quarterly outings.

      Cons

      It's tough to get your business off the ground within financial services in-general. It's a 100% commission position. If you don't hit certain goals, certain compensation can be taken away from you.
