Pros
Some of the general team members are so passionate about their work, it is so easy to be pulled into their positivity. Some of the knowledge and experience there would make it a brilliant place for junior engineers to get some experience.
Cons
Unfortunately, the business is completely stagnant at the senior leadership level. There was constant talk from the MD about making change and improving things but at each opportunity to do so, there was a reversion back to the old methods. Similarly, the culture was so negatively impacted, with a real "this is how we did it, so you have to as well" vibe. Further, specific team members were so focused on gaining and safeguarding their own positions and power that they actively caused negative outcomes for the business for their own personal gain.
