Pros

- Fashionable CEO looks good in the marketing materials! - Cozy, vintage building in an emerging neighborhood! - Constant turnover means job security for recruiting!

Cons

- CEO could not deliver inclusion in a remote work environment; she only wants people who want to be in the office. - The executive leadership team paints a thin veneer of social justice to conceal a toxic work environment for BIPOC employees. - Executive leadership team planted five star reviews for themselves on May 19 and July 22, 2021.

Pros

- Good wages and excellent benefits - PTO - The services it provides and the population it serves

Cons

- Executive leadership cannot be trusted - Toxic environment for BIPOC employees - Lack of support and transparency Guild used to be a great place to work. Leadership was supportive and showed genuine care for their staff. It is unclear what the ultimate goal and vision of the current executive team is at this point. They invest staff time and energy in their "inclusivity" efforts with nothing to show for it because nothing is implemented in a meaningful way. Diversity is non-existent and when they do have non-white staff, they are not valued or supported.

Pros

Experience and professional growth. PTO is good if you stay over 2 years. Pay can be competitive depending on position.

Cons

I had high hopes when joining Guild and unfortunately, they were not met. Guild's culture is toxic, staff wellbeing is glossed over,  leadership makes decisions based upon their wants and not staff/client feedback, and the turnover rate is incredibly high. I wouldn't recommend Guild to BIPOC until they figure out their IDE plan. ~85-90% of the leadership team and board members are white along with all program managers. Hiring has remained one-dimensional under the guise of "not enough applicants."
