      Worst Company I've Ever Worked For

      Pros

      Pros: - Work from home Wednesday for the SF team

      Cons

      Cons: - You’re selling vaporware - the product doesn’t work as advertised - Management doesn’t care about you as a person, no professional development, no benefits, healthcare is poor, etc. They see you as a number on a spreadsheet - Management will promise you everything and tell you what you want to hear in order to hit a goal but will follow through maybe 20% of the time - They’ll make up and shift numbers around to hit goal at the end of the month (not honest) - Very sales-bro culture in SF - Inexperienced management in Poland, double whammy - Crowded space with no real differentiation - Interviewers lie to get people onboard

      Pros

      Prior to closing the San Francisco office, the pros of working at Growbots were a strong US presence and culture. The entire US team truly enjoyed working with one another and growing together as a team.

      Cons

      Upper management is a huge con. Unfortunately, we had to watch the company single handily be run into the ground by our Executives. Our Executive team were unwilling to be transparent in regards to the company health, status & changes that were to come. By wanting to stay a privately held company, they rejected multiple offers to guide Growbots to the next level. The company does not have a future unless they change their vision on what they define 'successful'

      Human is only a resource there

      - technology stack - office in the city center

      Cons

      - treating people as things - egocentric and "almighty" COO, - CEO is only a puppet, - not respecting its own values - optimizing teams and individuals for numbers instead of showing the big picture - constantly lying to its customers, overselling, promising things they are not planning to deliver - tricked at least two employees, only to save money in the short-term
