Pros
I’ve been with GrayMatter for 10 years, and when people ask me how/why I’ve been here for so long, I respond; the people, and the culture. The company hired me almost right out of college, and I’ve worn many hats - as they say- since. All of my roles and the mentorship from GrayMatter’s leadership has transformed me both professionally and personally. We often talk about “the gray matter vibe” which incorporates core values of honesty, integrity, respect, innovation, and teamwork. Virtues and ethics to live by and work. If you’re up for a worthwhile challenge and a strong personal and professional growth trajectory I highly recommend working with GrayMatter. We're a growing company, and with that come challenges of navigating novel problems, as well as investigating new strategy. Working here has taught me to be innovative and adaptable.
Cons
Business development has always been an area I think we can get stronger in, and adding additional resources - software or organizational - to take on new sprints.

Dysfunctional company that lacks business sense
Mar 23, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is some flexibility in hours.
Cons
This company is completely reactionary, not proactive in any way. General management style is completely dysfunctional, ignores the recommendations of experienced personnel, and would rather stress already thin resources rather than provide resources where they are needed, even at the risk of losing good personnel and business. There is a puzzling lack of business foresight or sales support in areas that could be crucial to the business. Employees routinely ignore each others emails, and by not enforcing a work-together attitude, the company fosters a de-facto "every-person-for-themselves" atmosphere, where employees now know that they cannot count on the company or management. Higher management does not even understand what their personnel do. For a company that promotes itself as a cutting-edge technology/high-end solution organization, this company is shockingly short-sighted.

Successful, Growing Company that Values it's Employees
Mar 25, 2022 - Senior Solutions ConsultantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great work/life balance. Competitive salary/benefits including bonuses based on clearly defined personal goals, 401K matching, great healthcare, and flexible vacation schedules. Products and Services that actually provide great benefits to customers. Top leadership is open to employee ideas and are very approachable. Company goals and performance are clearly communicated to all employees on a weekly basis.
Cons
Not many cons I can come up with. Maybe a bit slow to get rid of underperforming employees. Have had to clean up messes created by underperforming employees in the past.
