Pros

- Really good product. - Cool industry to sell to.

Cons

- Leadership is extremely toxic. - Sales teams are completely rehauled every few years even after hitting goals and milestones. - No clear direction from top down. - Most of the focus within the company is keeping the owners key star players happy at whatever cost to the rest of the company, even if they are a massive hinderance to the rest of the team. - Very, very poor culture from the top down which trickles into every department creating a lot of animosity and angst throughout the whole company. - Sales org is highly scrutanized and micromanaged. - Marketing, support, etc. overstep into sales and push sales around into new processes constantly to fit what works best for them to have sales do their jobs for them so they don't have to take accountability themselves for shortcomings.

Pros

Lack of Transparency and Ethics in Talent Management

Cons

I worked as a Fullstack Developer at GoodTime.io, and my experience was quite negative. I was hired, and after 30 days, I was unexpectedly called into a meeting where I was simply told that my performance was low and that I "was already expecting this call." This completely shocked me because, in my 1:1 meetings with the tech lead, everything seemed to be going well. During my first few weeks, I didn’t receive proper training on the product, and setting up my environment took several days due to the lack of documentation. It wasn’t until my third week that I started to gain more context about the application, the product, and how to navigate my role effectively. After the call, all my accounts were immediately disabled, and the company-provided equipment was locked. The worst part was that, due to this sudden termination, I lost my health insurance, as well as my wife's, along with the continuity we were processing from our previous insurance. There were no prior warnings or clear indications that this would happen, which I consider a complete lack of ethics and transparency from the company.
