Poorly managed

Pros

It has good mission statement

Cons

Too cheap to hire engineers from US. A lot of hires are from abroad. Some of the senior engineers are promoted only because they speak louder than the others. Some of the senior managements are obnoxious and stubborn. they don't listen to feedback at all, and they think they are always right. The application is a mess due to poor technical leadership

Pros

Leadership is very passionate about the product and people. For some this can be frustrating until you understand their desire for perfection

Cons

Still going through growing pains but the company is aware and trying to overcome the challenges

Pros

I get along well with the people I work with.

Cons

Low pay, not competitive. This company doesn't allow equal opportunities for all employees - for example, some employees get to work remotely a lot more frequently than other employees, who only may be allowed 1 day to work from home. Expects their employees to make "sacrifices" to get work done, even if it means working through the night, not getting sleep and taking time away from their families. There was a department in particular that was recently working at all hours of the night to get work completed. It was very disturbing in the recent company meetings how people were "cheering" these people on, like it was a good thing to overwork the employees in this department, expecting them to work over 40 hours and risk their well being and time away from their free time and families. These people deserve so much more than some "high-five" job well done. They don't deserve to be overworked.
