Pros

They do offer a commissions check

Cons

Commissions are based on customers paying their bills not you making the sale

Pros

Flexible schedule, but can still be long hours.

Cons

Do not bother working for this company. They only have two markets that are doing really well, and everyone else is struggling. They run a skeleton crew and only like three guys know what they're doing, but won't train anyone. They also lie about ownership. Scott is still heavily involved and everyone hates him. Unless you work for the Houston or Dallas territory you'll struggle with quota because RDO is way better companies. They have more employees, more training, and better prices, and no horrible ownership.

Pros

None. Commission used to be good but they reset those adding unattainable targets.

Cons

I single-handedly turned the Laser repair franchise around in the Denver market before the construction collapse, and was rewarded with ZERO pay raises in my last 2 year there. Management is an absolute joke. My boss encouraged me to cut in to my benchmate's repairs without considering the toxic issues that could cause. Employee Ownership is in name only. The stores, including ours in Denver, are in high crime, low rent areas, and are kept minimally stocked. Employee turnover is the norm, with MANY people leaving in the last two years. The staffing dynamic is terrible; the Bench techs are expected to cover the Counter, yet not get any share of commissions on sales. Meanwhile, they can't hit their repair quotas because of this. Overall a very poor business model. This is made worse by the monthly MANUAL inventories! Bar code scanning was invented in the 70's folks...
