Pros

Very nice co-workers. Free clothes around back to school season. Decent high school job.

Cons

Management harasses employees to reach target sales so that they can get cash incentives while the actual people doing the work get nothing.

Pros

- Made some good friends while working here - 50% off

Cons

- They expect you to know everything - They teach you absolutely nothing and you get in trouble for not doing things properly even though you weren't taught - If you're looking for a job with a lot of hours, this place isn't for you. I had full open availability and got 2 shifts a week, 3 if I was lucky - They set unrealistic deadlines everyday that are impossible to reach - If you're closing at Garage, you're practically a SLAVE. I was a student in high school and they wouldn't let me go home even though it would be 1am because the store didn't look good enough. On Black Friday of last year (2016) my shift ended at 11pm and I went home at 5am. I sat for hours on a dusty floor folding hundreds of clothes. They will have you doing hard labour work and they don't care about your well-being. - Catty atmosphere, everyone talks about each other - Constantly changing environment, hard to keep up with - They're always changing things around in the store, you never know where anything is - Management is rude

Pros

Great clothing discount Fun atmosphere

Cons

You work like your on commission with no extra benefits to do so no bonuses or extra money just weekly recognition that means nothing Manager was a bully and made all associates cry except for her favorites and when u became not one of her favorites it was even worse So much pressure to sell with a very low price point store, there daily goals in the city I worked in were outrageous and your were penalized as a manager if you did not make them Super high turnover rate no doubt because of the manager Associates super catty
