      Funnelbox is a good place for someone wanting to get some experience under his/her belt.

      Pros

      Great place to get experience and to take on a lot of roles. Recommended for recent college grads. Lots of opportunity to make side projects.

      Cons

      You take on a lot of role for little pay. There is a high turnover rate. It's located in Oregon City so the commute can be cumbersome.

      It's gratifying to hear you got some great experience. Our industry is undergoing MASSIVE change right now, and unfortunately, that comes with inevitable turnover....which I absolutely hate. I'm sorry you felt that this wasn't a good place for you. I sincerely wish you the best of luck at your new gig.

      Great growing production house in OR, a mom-and-pop gets serious

      Pros

      These guys have gone through great lengths and amazing growth to become a still-burgeoning, ever-restless production house in the greater Portland area. It's always been a place with a lot of ambition, a do-it-yourself mentality, and a real family vibe! I would recommend funnelbox to any up-and-comer wanting to cut their teeth in production, or a creative ready to make a difference with a small but powerful shop

      Cons

      Seems to still be constantly in flux with the amount of staff it can support, although I haven't been there in years. Management used to be pretty scrutinizing by the owner-operator, but he's taken a step back from that, so we will have to see how they develop
