Don't really value your pay. Worked for 4 years and didn't receive a raise above the minimum cost of living wages. In other words, I could have joined for a year, left for 2, then returned after 4 years and I would make the same as if I stayed employed with them all 4 years.
Lots of time spent in the field; working one on one with client caseload; lots of team work.
Cons
Mental impact of this position can be difficult; working closely with patients, you definitely need to deflect from the energy in the environment as it is naturally negative.
